The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of leadership competencies on organizational citizenship behavior. The research method is descriptive correlational. The statistical population of this study is police forces in Markazi province. Due to the limited population size, sampling was not performed and all individuals were selected as samples. For collecting data, standard questionnaires were used. To assess leadership competencies, a questionnaire developed by Bush and Cardona (2010) and to measure organizational citizenship behavior from the Lee and Allen questionnaire (2002) used. Data analysis was performed by structural equation modeling using Smart-PLS software. The results showed that leadership competencies on organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant impact with a path coefficient of 0.814.
