Aim: One of the pieces of equipment needed by the army forces is the military tent, which is very effective in their work process. Today, the software is designed to model the structure and implement it realistically. Therefore, the main goal of the research is to examine an existing example of a military tent and to obtain its weaknesses and strengths, so that finally, by using it, it is possible to maintain the strengths and provide a suitable solution for the weaknesses.
Method: The present research method has a qualitative nature and is modeling-simulation. The method of collecting information is library, document, and field. After reviewing the existing military tent model, the researcher's final model is designed in Rhino6 software with the Grasshopper plugin.
Findings: With the advancement of technology, new materials with waterproof and resistant properties have been produced, which can be used to create tents with higher capabilities by using structures made of light materials. Another important point in the design of tent structures is the ease of movement and flexibility. So, the system can be divided into small parts, easily connected and separated, and the tent can be easily installed and transported.
Conclusion: The results indicate that the military tent has structural, functional, and spatial dimensions in the design and to reach the flexibility approach, each of the dimensions should have the characteristics of changeability, adaptability, and diversity respectively.
