This study aimed to determine the effect of managers as a social capital in creating organizational change at Khatam-ol-Anbia air defense base. For this purpose, social capital has been divided into three Structural, relational and cognitive dimensions and its relationship with organizational transformation was investigated. This research isapplied, based on the purpose and is correlation, based on the research method and the required data were collected by survey method.The statistical population of the study was personnel of the headquarters of Khatam-ol-Anbia Air Defense Base. A random sampling method was used and the sample size was determined using a Cochran sampling formula of 72 people. Data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed by Spearman correlation and regression tests. The findings of the research indicate that there is a direct linear relationship between social capital and all its dimensions and constituent components with organizational transformation. Managers as a social capital has a significant impact on organizational transformation, and all three structural, relational and cognitive aspects of this capital affect organizational transformation.
