In the beginning of the third millennium, knowledge management is considered to be a strategic requirement for institutions, organizations and agencies. Knowledge management(KM) guarantees the long-term superiority of the organizations and communities and their ability to employ human, intellectual and information capital. KM is a view which can flexibly be implemented by managers and contribute to future rivalry and preservation of knowledge possessions. It is a new literature in management which has gained great attention from scientists, hence, the most important cornerstone of knowledge management is its implementation and effectiveness. Identification of KM is necessary as the dominant soul on the organizational practices. This paper aims at studying the process of implementation and installation of CKMS in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Since KM is relies on the interrelations of individuals and the application of Information Technology (IT), we realize that the objective of KM is to introduce methods that will help organizations in attaining their aims. This paper seeks to offer a general method and render suggestions based on factors like, reasons, objectives, scope of application, organization, leadership, organizational behavior, processes, outcomes, individuals and merits, technological infrastructures, method, challenges and restrictions in IRI Army. In the final part, the administrative obstacles of the implementation of KM in IRIA are noted and some solutions are offered.
