Knowledge is not a new concept, but the complexity of global workplace in the past twenty years has caused that the word management augmented to knowledge. So it is necessary to use knowledge management in solving this complexity. There are many factors in knowledge management implementation. Among them, culture is the most important. In this research, the relationship between KM and organizational culture has been explored. In the first step, we distributed two questionnaires about KM and organizational culture statues in Imam Ali(AS) University. According to Queen Model and using friedman test, the dominant culture of university was goal achievement. But in examining the relationship between knowledge management and culture, no relationship was found. According to Binomial test, the situation of KM in the university was not normal. According to Spearman test, the relationship between KM and OC was positive and significant. Although the average of KM and OC was weak, the correlation between them was positive. According to Friedman test, the dominant characteristic ranked the highest and the goal achievement was the lowest. Binomial test shows that the KM was not in good order there. At the end of the article, some recommendations and implications was derived.
