Confidentiality:
All personal and identifying information related to authors—such as affiliations, contact information, and manuscript details—will remain strictly confidential and accessible only to authorized individuals (e.g., the editor-in-chief, editorial board, reviewers, and publishing staff).
Impartiality:
Editorial decisions are made solely based on the academic merit of the manuscript, regardless of the author’s race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, citizenship, or political philosophy.
Intellectual Property Rights:
All intellectual property rights remain with the authors unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Classified Content:
Submitted manuscripts must not include any classified, restricted, or confidential information.
Original Work:
Submissions must represent the authors' own original work. Articles must not include names of individuals who did not contribute significantly to the research.
Proper Attribution:
All use of third-party work must be accurately and properly cited. Authors must ensure references are complete and accurate to maintain citation integrity and avoid plagiarism.
Simultaneous Submissions:
Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal at the same time, nor published in any other internal or external journal or proceedings. Authors are expected to refrain from submitting the same manuscript to other journals within three months of submission to HCIM. Violation of this policy may result in permanent rejection of future submissions.
Error Notification and Retraction:
If authors identify significant errors or inaccuracies in their submitted or published article, they must notify the editorial office promptly to correct or retract the article.
Manuscript Rejection and Archival:
Rejected or withdrawn manuscripts will be removed from the archive after six months. The journal assumes no responsibility for storage beyond this period.
Ethical Review at Submission:
Submitted manuscripts will undergo initial ethical screening for originality, plagiarism, human subject protections, conflict of interest, and copyright compliance.
Editorial Authority:
The editorial board reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, condense, or revise submissions according to academic and ethical standards.
Declaration of Compliance:
All authors must confirm their full understanding of and compliance with the journal’s policies. A completed declaration form must be submitted alongside the manuscript, affirming that the work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
Ethical Declarations Required:
Authors must submit the Authorship Declaration Form and Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form, both available on the journal's website.

Timely Decision-Making:
Reviewers are expected to promptly inform the editorial office whether they accept or decline the review request, citing reasons such as lack of subject expertise, time constraints, or access limitations.
Objectivity and Justification:
Reviews must be based on academic evidence and logical reasoning. Personal bias, discriminatory language, or unsubstantiated claims are unacceptable.
Reference Verification:
Reviewers must examine the adequacy and accuracy of cited references and ensure all cited sources are properly acknowledged in the manuscript.
Conflict of Interest:
Reviewers must not accept manuscripts in which they have personal, financial, or institutional conflicts of interest.
The journal strongly condemns all forms of research misconduct. Key forms of unethical behavior include but are not limited to:
Fabrication or falsification of data
Plagiarism
Ghostwriting or purchased authorship
Duplicate or redundant publication
Misuse of human subjects
Identity theft in authorship
Conflicts of interest not disclosed
Self-plagiarism or overlapping submissions
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. If the article has already been published, it will be retracted, archived, and labeled as “Plagiarized Article” on the journal website. Authors may also be placed on a permanent blacklist.

Given the rapid advancement of generative AI tools, The Military Science and Tactics (QJMST) recognizes the importance of establishing clear guidelines for their ethical and responsible use in academic publishing. These policies are aligned with recent global standards introduced by COPE.
Transparency:
Authors must explicitly disclose any use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Bard) in the preparation of the manuscript, whether for writing assistance, language editing, data analysis, figure generation, or literature summarization. This should be stated clearly in the Acknowledgments, Methodology, or Author Note section.
Human Accountability:
AI tools must not be listed as authors. The responsibility for the scientific accuracy, originality, and integrity of the content lies entirely with the human authors.
Prohibited Practices:
Use of AI in ways that result in data fabrication, misleading results, plagiarism, or deception is strictly prohibited and constitutes serious academic misconduct.
Reviewer Conduct:
Reviewers are also prohibited from using AI-generated summaries or content without disclosure. Any assistance provided by AI must be declared in the review report.
Education and Awareness:
The journal is committed to raising awareness about ethical AI usage and supports capacity-building initiatives to help researchers use these tools responsibly.
Violation Response:
If unethical or undisclosed AI use is detected, the journal may take corrective actions in accordance with COPE guidelines, including retraction, public notices, or author sanctions.
