Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the structural impact of strategic leadership on organizational effectiveness with an emphasis on the mediating role of knowledge management in the Ground Fire Force Headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Methodology: The research method was descriptive-correlational with a quantitative approach and using structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the present study included all managers and commanders of the Nazaja headquarters, 564 people in 1403, of which 229 people were selected as a sample based on the Cochran formula. The standard questionnaire for strategic leadership (Lear, 2012), knowledge management (Newman and Conrad, 1999), and organizational effectiveness (Malekinia and Hammaren, 2009) were used to collect data.
Findings: Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling in SmartPLS software. The results showed that the measurement model has appropriate validity and reliability, and the structural model has good explanatory power. Hypothesis testing indicated a positive and significant effect of the main variables on the dependent variable, while some relationships lacked statistical significance.
Conclusion: Strategic leadership is significantly effective in enhancing the organizational effectiveness of the NZAJA headquarters, especially when the necessary platform for the development and application of knowledge management is provided. In military environments where the success of missions and strategic decisions requires rapid exchange of knowledge and foresight, strengthening leadership and knowledge management capabilities is the key to achieving effective organizational performance.
