Abstract
Following the transformation in the methods of combat and the formation of an environment of unequal threats that dominates the country's defense environment, the need to prepare in all areas of combat and update combat methods and tactics and combat support is obvious and at the same time necessary. This research aims to find the characteristics of the preparedness and support system in accordance with the unequal threats with the passive defense approach, in search of an answer to the question, what should be the characteristics of the preparedness and support system against the unequal threats with the passive defense approach? The research is of "applied-developmental" type and its method is descriptive (case-based) with a mixed approach. The sample size of the statistical population is the whole number and the sampling method is based on the purposeful method of judgment and the number of 70 people has been selected. For data analysis, a questionnaire and descriptive statistical tools such as averages and standard deviations, as well as inferential statistics tools such as one-sample Student's t-test and Friedman's ranks were used. The findings of this research included 8components (availability, survivability, flexibility, responsiveness, simplicity, continuity, mobility, economy) and 63 propositions for the characteristics of the readiness and support system of Nazaja against unequal threats with a passive defense approach.
