The situation of social capital in the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract
Social capital is one of the factors affecting the development of organizations and the use of other organizational capital is possible in the light of the promotion of this capital. The first step for any kind of planning to promote social capital in any organization is to recognize the current state of social capital. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to calculate the status of social capital in the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran (AJA). This article is based on the purpose of research: applied, based on the approach: combined and based on the method: descriptive-analytical. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative section includes 20 AJA experts, who were judged according to the necessary experience and expertise and weighed the dimensions, components and variables of social capital in AJA using the SWARA technique, and in the quantitative section, all AJA staff, whose sample size includes 384 members of the four AJA forces, who were selected in a simple stratified and random manner, taking into account the population ratio of the forces. By distributing a questionnaire in this community, the status of social capital in AJA was calculated using the average collective weighting. The results show that social capital in AJA with a coefficient of 3.422 is relatively good.
