This paper seeks to answer the fundamental question of: What is the relation of defense and national security with emerging ICT technology? It is an applied research regarding the outcome, field and case study and regarding the aims and nature and a descriptive one done in snowball method regarding the data. In this research, the main variables affecting the relation of defense and national security with emerging ICT technology was identified and used for formulating the relation of defense and national security with emerging ICT technology after the affirmation of the statistical population. The statistical population of the research added up to 100 people and the sample population was 55 scholars, decision makers and lecturers of military academies of Islamic Republic of Iran. The data was collected through library studies, field studies and by using a questionnaire, interviews and internet sites. The data was analyzed using conceptual statistics methods and descriptive-inferential ways with SPSS and ------------. The results of the research confirm that there is a significant relation between emerging ICT technology and defense and national security.
