Air defense battalions in combat and field training (third type test) must organize and carry out assigned missions with responsibility for the overall operation in the Nazaja Brigades. The main goal of the research is to improve the productivity of field exercises of Nezaja Air Defense Battalions. Researchers are trying to answer the question of how to improve the efficiency of tactical exercises in air defense. Due to the nature of the issue, this research is of applied type and its implementation method is descriptive with a quantitative and qualitative approach (mixed). Data collection has been done in two ways: field and library, using documents, interviews, and the researcher's self-made questionnaire. The statistical population of the study is 200 people, which has been calculated using Cochran's formula of the sample population of 130 people. Findings from the 5% error level show that conducting a military science test, shooting individual weapons, and conducting a strength test before conducting a battalion test at the ground barracks will improve the efficiency of tactical exercises of the Nazaja Air Defense Battalions. The research results showed that the capable selection of the planning staff, observing the priority in preparing the plans, allocating and implementing the educational goals to the schedule, allocating resources by providing preparatory resources before the implementation stage, and implementing the shooting of defensive weapons during Implementation of practical tactics will improve the efficiency of tactical exercises of the Air Defense Forces of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
