A model for using information technology to establish knowledgmanagement in army by “share point” software

Abstact
Knowledge management is an effective solution for managing the most
important organizational assets which means educated workers. There would be
some problems in knowledge management without IT, whereas using it will
ensure organizational intelligence. IT helps leaders and workers of the
organization to achieve required information easily and quickly and accordingly
they will be able to verify the data and reach a better decision. In this study, we
investigate the case of Share Point software by Microsoft Corporation. It is
provided to carry out knowledge transfer in an organization A suitable software
model for implementation of knowledge management in the Army is suggested.
Hence, general specifications and advantages of Share Point, its management of
advanced documentation, adaptability with Office software, the quality of
displaying attendance, conversational use, scalability, expandability, security,
supportability, and hardware have been discussed.
