Maintaining internal order and protecting the country against foreign invasion is the most important function of the armed forces of any country. These forces should represent such an order within their organization that are promising for the community, but these words does not mean that the internal discipline of the armed forces must be hidden under the guise of appearance order. Therefore, maintaining the appearance order and continuous studying the causes of organizational culture defects of the forces should be a top priority in the Researches in Armed Forces. This research is based on the theory of "discourse of power and counter-power" of Michel Foucault arguing that power rests on hierarchy and in order to emphasize its nature one should inevitably consider the order. In this descriptive- analytical study, using qualitative-data collection methods, three serious defecincies in the organizational culture of the armed forces have been identified including: recruitment, training and supervision during service. According to this hypothesis, with a more detailed planning in stages of recruitment, training and the supervision of service through recognizing the change of power’s concept in the postmodern era, we can greatly reduce the weaknesses of organizational culture in armed forces.
