Brigade commander is a manager who must do goal-setting, plan, direct and implement all educational, cultural affairs of the brigade in the present juncture with minimal budget and facilities. This research aims to improve the effectiveness of the infantry brigade commanders using time management. The research method is described by a mixed approach. 26 people were selected as the participants of this study. Data collection was performed by the researcher via interviewing with experts, studying the documents and distributing questionnaires. 95% of the population considered using planning and implementing its steps, effective in reducing workload, and increasing time, performance and efficiency of commanders. 81% of the population averages to high believe that after eliminating time-wasting factors using time management, commanders’ efficiency can be improved. 92% of average to high population believes that after using technical tools enjoying time management, the efficiency of Army infantry brigade commanders can be promoted. Finally it was revealed that commanders’ efficiency has been promoted by as much as 25% and also their health has improved implementing time management.
